Gives you maybe aside from messenger and the odd Facebook ad that pops up on their newsfeed to them. the Facebook personal page is facebook your Facebook personal page is the main page that you see when you first log in it's what you signed up for it's typically your name and it's the page you use to connect with friends or with family it's not your business page. you can't run ads through it it's just there but here's the deal it's also one of the most effective ways to connect. with your network and to build your business here's why first especially.

 If you're just getting started in business it is incredibly important that your friends and your family know what you do after all word of mouth and getting referrals are incredibly powerful ways to build up your business. but for them to refer you they need to know what you do after all people can't buy from you if they don't know that you exist or in this case, people can't buy from you. if they do know you exist but don't know that you have a business.

I personally learned this lesson the hard way years ago. When I accidentally created content on my personal page that was meant for my business page. And all my friends and my family joined in. And they were asking marketing questions. And they had no idea that I was doing marketing at that time. When I was telling myself that I don't want to spam my friends.

I have a family with my business so I will keep it separate. It was a huge mistake. The fact is that you can strategically and carefully post about your business without spamming or spamming sales. Just tell people what you do. Another reason that makes your personal Facebook page so effective is. It really comes down to God's Facebook algorithm. Which is basically the system behind it. Who Facebook shows and who it shows your stuff to. Well, your personal Facebook page is still one of the places where you have reasonable access.

This means you can create content on your personal page. And this is a great opportunity to show off to your friends and your family. The next tool that Facebook gives you is the Facebook Business Page. Here's the deal with a Facebook business page. If you have a business, you need Facebook. Business page duration is now non-negotiable. The beauty of a Facebook business page is that it gives you access to a whole new set.

Tools that aren't available through your personal page like locating your business and running ads, which we're going to talk about later. Unlike your personal page, however, which should be mostly personal. Business Your business page should be mostly if not entirely business. It doesn't mean boring. And it doesn't even mean hammering your audience. They are tempted to buy something with offer after offer. But it does mean that you focus your content on key and broad business or business-related things that your customers or clients will find useful or interesting or valuable. who is going to follow your personal page? While people following your business page may be interested in you but They're probably more interested in what your business can do now. When you first start a business page you will have all zero followers. So you may be tempted to spend money on advertising to grow your followers. But for this, I will warn you first. Which we saw earlier this year. When people spend a ton of money to build all those followers for their business page only to have Facebook change their algorithm and instantly kill all the traffic coming from the page. That is, let's say you had a hundred followers on your business. Page and you've created content for maybe 50 or maybe 60 people in the past, then they changed the algorithm and now two people will see it. Maybe five

All this money that was spent on building followers was largely wasted. That's why a better approach is to try to mention it organically through your website through your email newsletter.
